Authentication
uses API tokens to authenticate and authorize every request. This ensures secure, scoped, and auditable access to our global trade intelligence platform.
Tokens follow the Bearer authentication model and should be included in the Authorization header of each request.
AUTHENTICATED REQUEST
curl https://api.tradedata.io/api/v1/tradeDetail \
-H "Authorization: Bearer yourTokenHere" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"data_coverage": 1,"date_range": [20220101, 20220130],"product_keyword": ["book"],"sort": "count","order": "desc","page_size": 10,"page": 1}'
Important: Keep your API tokens confidential. Do not expose them in public
repositories or frontend code. To test requests using your account, replace the
sample API token with your actual API token or
sign in.Status Codes
The API uses standard HTTP status codes to indicate the success or failure of API requests. Understanding these codes helps developers troubleshoot issues quickly and build robust integrations.
